The Takumi at our Sakata, Japan factory incorporate outstanding shaft performance and a sophisticated beauty into each BERES-W.

Honma Original Dual Plating

＜Slide zone＞ The sole has patented nickel chrome plating with a low coefficient of friction, and a smooth camber, to slide easily through the turf and sand from any lie.

＜Spin zone＞ The clubface is precision CNC milled, for the maximum surface roughness allowed by the R&A Rules of Golf for grooves and ultimate flatness. Then it’s finished with a proprietary black nickel plating, resulting in a high coefficient of friction surface – to maximize spin.

Reverse Taper Blade

High CG design gradually increases vertical blade thickness from the sole to the top edge. This helps the ball stay in contact with the clubface longer, even high on the face, and generates optimal spin.

I-Sole（50, 52）

With a thin trailing edge, the sole slips easily under the ball even on full shots, delivering the ideal distance for each loft.

C-Sole（56, 58, 60）

Bounce is decreased from heel to toe. The shape helps the sole slip easily under the ball both on square and open strikes.
