DRIVER with built-in flying functions in a luxurious design
Designed for maximum distance and forgiveness for the average golfer. A new head structure has been created that retains the exhilarating feel and sound of BERES.
Solid Carbon
Evolution from the previous titanium monolithic structure to a carbon composite structure. By reducing the weight on the toe side and placing the center of gravity closer to the heel, it is easier to grip. Also, the composite structure allows for a slightly softer hitting sound.
Quad Bridge Powerface
In order to efficiently maximize the repulsion force of the face, it is desirable that the repulsion area be close to a perfect circle. Therefore, bridges are placed in four directions to reduce distance loss when hitting off-center while making the repulsion area closer to a perfect circle. The material used is HONMA’s uniquely developed “HMT face material” to increase strength, further improving flight distance performance.
PBDB Weight (Push Back & Draw Bias Weight)
The weight is placed not on the sole, but on the backside, which is an extension of the fly ball line. The impact energy is converted into repulsive force without loss, pushing back from the rear of the head and increasing initial velocity. Additionally, placement closer to the heel improves grip performance.
Adopting the industry’s first high-strength carbon sheet -ARMRQ FX shaft-
The ARMRQ shaft has evolved to allow for easier grip and higher trajectory. This time, we purposely reduced the number of fabric shafts, which have increased with each model change, to reduce weight*, while maintaining strength by adopting a highly elastic 70t pitch for the fibers used for the shafts. This makes it possible to reduce weight, make the flex more supple, have a kick point closer to the hand, and place the balance point closer to the head, achieving high reproducibility and “flying and not bending.” *17% lighter than the previous model for the fabric alone
*Metal hybrid 5-shaft sheet Aluminum High-strength material laminated with highly elastic 70t pitch on the back side of the metal shaft. Since shaft winding requires special technology, this is the first seat in the industry that was made possible by HONMA, which employs highly skilled craftsmen.
By having a kick point at hand, the directional stability of the trajectory is improved.
ARMRQ FX has a kick point that is slightly closer to the hand than the previous model, resulting in a more stable swing trajectory and more accurate shots. In addition, the increased suppleness creates a greater bend and improves flight distance performance.
The lighter shaft allows the head to accelerate further at impact.
The new shaft, which is lighter than the previous model, improves head balance first. This allows the head to run and increase flight distance.
The performance of the shaft increases depending on the grade.
All grades use the carbon fiber Torayca® MX series prepreg developed by Toray Industries, Inc., which has both high compressive strength and high modulus of elasticity . Furthermore, because HONMA’s technology adjusts the shaft structure and materials used to match the grade, the higher the grade, the better the distance performance and directional stability.

It is characterized by the shape memory performance of a new material that goes beyond common sense by significantly improving the elongation rate of high-modulus carbon. Compared to “T1100G”, it has superior shape retention performance and is suitable for long lengths and reinforcement.

HONMA was the first in the industry to use this high-performance prepreg, which is now widely used, including by other manufacturers. Achieves both “high elasticity and high strength”.
The kick point has been moved a little closer to hand than the previous model, making timing easier. The large bend increases flight distance with a high trajectory. In addition, the ease of swinging improves the reproducibility of swings and achieves stable shots.
The highly elastic Trading Card® M40X , which pursues the ultimate in both fiber strength and elastic modulus , provides superior playing performance that efficiently accelerates head speed without waste, while suppressing torque and improving stability.
In order to further increase head speed, the kick point is moved closer to the tip. At the same time, crushing and torque are further suppressed, and stability is increased along with initial speed.
From the 4S grade, the bias layer has been further strengthened to generate strong torsional return power. This provides ultimate flight and stability.
ARMRQ lightweight model -ARMRQ FX LIGHT-
This shaft is recommended for seniors and low swing speed players who cannot swing or increase distance with the regular ARMRQ FX/R flex, and female golfers who feel that regular ladies’ clubs are underspec.
